Christmas with Miffy @ Harbour City

Installations of large Miffy is now spread in conerns of Harbor City. It's for the celebration of Miffy's 55 years old and also for raising fund for the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Fundation. Every Miffy doll in Harbor city is donated by one individual. Such function is meaningful and create a lot of joy for people, many like taking photo with the Miffys and improve the X'mas atmosphere inside the mall.

Fashion in Art Fair

I have went to the Art Fair held in HKECE this summer.
Some of the Artwork are related to Fashion. They inspire me that fashion is part of culture and can become a piece of art.

This is the picture of famous Designer 村上隆 and his creature - flowers, the artwork is making acrylic on canvas.

This picture is made of different jeans. The designer has used both interior and exterior side of jeans, even the pockets and zipper.

The famous fashion luxury brand - Louis Vuitton. The famous component - the lock is being enlarged and made into art pieces.

The pottery is being piled up and made into Chinese blouses and skirt. It showed us the fashion in the old days and delivered the message of "tradition" by the pottery.

Puma - The Black Label Store in Japan

The picture was taken in Puma store in Japan 2 years ago. At that time I knew nothing about Puma Black Label since it has not yet been launched in Hong Kong. I just know Puma is a Sports brand instead of a fashion brand.

When i stepped into the store, I have changed my mind and felt surprised. Puma was not only a sports brand but also a fashionable brand! Japan is definitely a fashion capital. They are all talented with fashion sense. The VM of the store made me admire the creativity of Japanese. The store has been decorated as a bike. All the things in the store are the components of the huge bike. They made Sports melt with Fashion in Puma, even changed my perception towards Puma when i backed to HK.

MARTELL sponsored the Vision Art section in 《VISION》Nov

There is a tag line " MARTELL art tour" on cover page of the section, a ribbon and rubber made seal chop on opp. page. At the end of the section, there is another page with ribbon following ads on opps page.

It borrowed the prestige of 《VISION》to make the brand more "artistic", it is a clever move to let the reader perceive the brand a more meaningful and high class one.
