Barbie celebrates her 50th anniversary in 2009,from the begining of the year, many celebrations and exhibitions start all around the world, including a grandopenning of a 6 floors new flagship store in Beijing.

This time, Barbie launches an mini exhition, called"Pretty inPink. In Here." at festival walk (Kolwoon Tong) crossover with http://www.izzue.com/, a fashion retailer.


In this mini Barbie exhibition, http://www.izzue.com/ displays 3 styles of barbie fashion,e.g T-shirt and ruffles skirt box sets.The crossover fashion shows Barbie's strong fashion sense. Barbie fans can even buy this crossover Barbie fashion and dress themselves up to be a real Barbie doll.

Besides showing that, the exhibition is decorated with pink color, at the same timeshowing 6 styles of historical moment( 1959、1962、1967、1971、1977、1986) in Barbiefashion's development, which are also display its clothes in adult version wear on Barbie shape mannequins.
Barbie is a brand which mainly sell their famous lovely baby doll, named Barbie, and the doll's acessories and clothings. It is so speacial that a toy brandnow starting to produce and sell the real-world version/ adult version of barbie fashion and cometics, which will be a new foucuing production line recently developed.

Barbie Cosmetics Set

Two life-sized Barbie mannequins in 183cm height were displayed in the exhitbition, which is first ever showcased in Hong Kong and help bring gimmick and interest the audenice!

This exhibition also collaborated with several international, renowned fashion brands such as LANCEL, LONGCHAMP, MARC BY MARC JACOBS. This allow shoppers to have a closer look at the items. Moreover, this exhibition, on one hand, demonstrating a new look with leading fashion and cosmetics brands. On the other hand, this help promote and encourage shoppers to those brands which also located in Festival Walk.

What's more along this promotional campaign, Festival Walk launched a Barbie chocolate and Barbie ALL DOLL'D UP Lip Gloss Charity Sales for supporting the Moonlight Foundation Nepal (MFN). We can see that within a singal promotional campaign, various o promotional strategies and activities also lauched at the same time in order to maximize the visibility to consumers and to drive sales!
